American Photo Appliance Company
American Photo Appliance Company
This Greenfield company was founded by an optical engineer who fled the Bolshevik revolution in Russia. This company made photographic processing equipment off of Brook Road in Shelburne up until the year 2000. Most of the products were used in the commercial market for making high speed proof prints of negatives (such as for student photos) and enlargements. Digital photography certainly played a role in the demise of this company.
