Markrite

The Markrite Stamp Company 158 Main St. was a three man firm that turned out Steel Stamps and Metal Marking devices under the direction of William H. Heubisch, who opened in 1915. As of 1953 the company still existed. It isn't clear when the company closed or were possibly absorbed in to another comapny. Some artifacts were found in the 2 Mead St. plant of the Greenfield Steel Stamp Co.
